ashes, ashes; we all fall down.

i am not my faults, nor my insecurities;
i am merely the sum of my thoughts - and a heart darkly dreaming.
there is more to me than often meets the eye.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
I am :
nineteen, and doin’ me.
i am young and free.
music and art.
i am from the heart
i am the bumpin’ bass, and mellow-deez (nutz;)
we are a friend of my city.
i am a free spirit
remaining loyal to living life -
but humble to the bittersweet end.
i am suburban comfort, and city tough.
i am detroit-made lovely.

Distance - Christina Perri
Dear Christina Perri,
While I respect and admire your dedication to using your immense talent to write songs whose lyrics give me immense deja vu, this one really makes me feel like I might want to consider getting a restraining order…
Most Sincerely,
Grace

“Ache With Me”, Against Me!
And it is 20 tracks of pure amazing. (I’ll post the list as soon as I either figure it out or he gets back from school and can send it to me)
Not to mention, this is the first time I’ve received a mix CD from someone in at least the past four years or so. I always make them for other people, but I can’t remember the last time someone made one for me - I’m pretty sure it was freshman year.
Long story short, this boy is working on the Boyfriend of the Year award.
Go follow him!

Just don’t let me disappear,
I’mma tell you everything… so tell me what you want to hear;
Something that will light those ears. So sick of all the insincere,
So I’m gonna give all my secrets away.
I’m Not Your Toy - La Roux

Boy, your touches leave me mystified… I wish I could believe in you.
It’s all false love and affection; you don’t want me, you just like the attention.
Yes, it’s all false love and affection; you don’t like me, you just want the attention.
I’m not your toy, and this isn’t another “girl meets boy.”
I. Love. Tom Gabel.
